Life After Graduation
According to a regional survey, eight of the ten most desirable attributes employers look for are language ability and soft skills. Lifeskills as some may call that are most common are communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, teamwork, initiative, analytical and problem solving skills, adaptability and integrity. The remaining two attributes are hard skills expected of a graduate : academic achievements, and technical and professional skills. Something to take note is also most employers look beyond hard skills. They value EQ in equal measure to IQ. They seek candidates with strong leadership and people skills.
Hence, with the skills and knowledge provided to students during the course of study, students embark on a journey with much confidence be it employment or self employment.
